To avoid the vending-machine munchies, stock your desk with durable fruits such as apples, oranges, bananas, pears, kiwis, peaches, and nectarines, says Lona Sandonm, R.D., a spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association.<p></p>

Or go with veggies that don't need to be refrigerated: avocados, grape or cherry tomatoes, peppers, and sugar snap peas.<p></p>
